About the event

On April 20, we are pleased to welcome Curtis Avery, Environment Manager for Nipissing First Nation, as our guest speaker.

With years of experience working in environmental management, including long-standing involvement with the Anishinabek/Ontario Fisheries Resource Centre—where he now serves as a board member—Curtis offers valuable insight into protecting and restoring natural spaces.

His presentation will focus on invasive species and the challenges and strategies involved in managing and maintaining healthy natural habitats.
