Important Dates and Information
Donation Guidelines

What to Donate
1. Garden Plants
-
Pot up healthy, well-rooted plants from your garden about 10 days before the sale. This gives the plants time to recover from transplanting and look their best on the day of the event.
-
Please ensure pots are clean, and plants are weed-free.
2. Houseplants & Seedlings
-
Houseplants, cuttings, or plants grown from seed are also very welcome.
3. Bulbs
-
Bulbs can be donated dry in bags or boxes. Please label clearly.
What Not to Bring
-
Please do not donate invasive or aggressive plants (also known as "garden thugs").
-
If you’re unsure whether a plant is invasive, check the list here:
🔗 Ontario Invasive Plant Council – Invasive Species List

Labeling
-
Label each plant clearly with:
-
Plant name (common and/or botanical if you know it)
-
Flower colour (if applicable)
-
-
Repurposed mini-blind slats work well for labels.

Other Garden Items
In addition to plants, we also gratefully accept:
-
Gently used garden tools
-
Planters & pots
-
Garden décor (ornaments, trellises, etc.)
-
Gardening books or magazines in good condition
Please ensure these items are clean and in good shape.
Thank you for supporting our plant sale with your donations!
